Day 12: Tuesday, August 12 - The Message of Reconciliation

Today's Scripture: II Corinthians 5:19-20

19 It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor).

20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God

Today's Prayer:

Father God, we carry heaven's message of reconciliation!

You are NOT counting sins against people - You're drawing them HOME! We are ambassadors of this radical grace! Through us, the Father's arms open WIDE to prodigals!

We prophesy over Eagle Mountain: We prophesy to the Marketplace in our region. The ministry of reconciliation is ACTIVATED! Broken relationships are being RESTORED! Prodigals are turning their hearts toward HOME! The Father's love is IRRESISTIBLE!

We speak peace where there's been war! Life where spiritual deadness has crept in. Hope where there's been despair! Welcome where there's been rejection! Your reconciling love flows through us like a river!

I declare that I carry heaven's embassy wherever I go! Through me, the Father whispers to lost sons and daughters: "Come home, beloved. All is forgiven. The feast is ready!"

In Jesus' reconciling name! AMEN!

Reflection: How can you be an ambassador of reconciliation today?

Action: Reconcile with someone if needed; model God's heart.
